LOOK Whats New: At our Planning Meeting in Jan 2016, We discussed "How to Host and Event" Everyone there received a short synopsis on the steps. We now have a Website page that lists steps, ideas, tops and more. Please add your input as you host events to help others that may host in the future. Thank you
All members will still be required to hostess an event. In other words, if you are helping with a larger event, that does not qualify as your hosted event. You must be the hostess. The limit to hostesses will now be [2] but larger events can have helpers. Your obligation is still the same that you hostess 1 event at minimum every other year.
Every hostess [1 or 2] will receive a "PERK" of a FREE PASS CARD to use at another event of up to $15.00. The helpers will not receive a FREE PASS CARD. It is up to the hostesses to reward their own helpers ith a small token gift or lunch if they wish. However helpers are just that. And it is not necessary to reward more than a sincere "Thank-You!

Also the actual "Calendar" has been updated to show all our events month by month. The consensus was to change our "Events" page to change to look like the 2015 calendar. Just to clarify any confusion some of you might have concerning membership. SB is a closed chapter to RH gals wanting to join [those who are already members of the RHS] but it is open to BRAND new RH ladies joining the RHS. These ladies will be allowed to join immediately.
The chapter will consider new SB members who have submitted an Application Form to QM [ladies already members of the RHS]at each of its Planning Meetings [January & June]with a majority vote at the meeting.
At this point SB has 40 members; of the 40 members there are about 10-12 members that rarely make our events, so we do have room for additional members. Membership is always changing for one life reason or another and openings are usually available. If you know of someone that might like to be a member of SB ask them to submit an application and at the next Planning Meeting their application will be presented for voting. Thank you

LOOK Whats New: At our 2nd Planning Meeting in June, It was voted in to change the SB Membership policies. Beginning July 1st, each member will be required to attend at least 3 events a year. SB has events during the week, on weekends, and during the evenings. There are plenty events for members to attend. This change was changed to allow other members eagerly waiting on our waiting list an opportunity to join our group and move on members that rarely attend SB events.
Another change discussed was hosting events. All members will now be required to hostess an event. In other words, if you are helping with a larger event, that does not qualify as your hosted event. Send Prayers to Gwen Bushnell and her family for her husband who fell and went to the hospital is home but still not well.... to send cards address info is on our Royal Roster.
Send prayers to Kay of RV Casuals, she has experienced a loss to her home. Recently a vehicle drove through her home destroying her living room and bedroom and her yard and then hit the neighbor's garage destroying their vehicles. No injures to KAy or her hubby but she is in need of prayers for a speedy clean up...

3/23rd: Hello everyone, finally I am back keeping up with 2015
Events: Our next event is April 11th, 11am @ "Fireman's Museum" tour in Long Beach and lunch at Curley's Cafe'. Then we have a fun train trip April 30th to the "Disney Music Center" for a tour of their facility and lunch there in the center. We will take the Blue line at 9am meet at the Willow Station. Our "J4UD" in APril on the 21st is at Pei Weis in the Rossmore Center on Seal Beach Blvd in front of Khol's... hope to see you all there.

Be sure to look at the roster to see who your "B" day buddies are and contact them about where you all want to meet up to take your photos.... 1. 2016 "SB 1st Glamour Calendar" Start thinking of where you want to take your photo for SB 1st "2016 Glamour Calendar" your photo will be in the month of your "B" day and if there are more gals with a "B" day that month it will be a group photo. You will need to discuss with the other "B" day gals in your month on an agreed location. 2. "2015 Time Capsule" Will be at our "Planning Meeting" in Jan 2015, if you cannot make it that day be sure to give your item to QM. Also, I am sending out an email today about the above and the "SB Time Capsule" that we had discussed at our "2nd Planning Meeting" see the ideas in QM email coming to your mailbox today. So far the consensuses is 5 years. Still awaiting more responses for the final decision. If no more responses so I guess 5 years will be it..
